2025 was a big year for EMT Healthcare.
In our mission to build a bolder, stronger business for the future and that helps pharmacies thrive, we made some big changes; we invested in technology, developed strategic partnerships, grew our retail offer and had a bit of fun along the way!
Improved customer experience in the digital age
EMT Healthcare is a third-generation family business that has seen a huge amount of change over the years. The biggest leap forward in technology for EMT has been the digital transformation of our entire infrastructure, rolling out our new ERP and CRM that manages the warehouse, stock, customer enquiries, insights, the website, and more.
The benefit to our customers is that we can now provide a near-total digital experience, providing customers the power to order, favourite stock for future purchases, view past orders and invoices online and make payments.
We know our customers value a personal experience and a tailor-made approach to their pharmacy accounts, this is where our highly knowledgeable Account Management and Customer Service team come in. But pharmacy life is busy and we understand that our customers like to have the freedom to manage their stock, pay bills and view ranges in their own way and in their own time, and that's where having the right technology in place is crucial.
Not only does the customer user experience improve, but with new systems in place, we have significantly improved processes across EMT Healthcare, enabling us to roll out next-day delivery on thousands of products for orders if placed before 4pm!
Increased our consumable and retail product range
Pharmacy is evolving at a pace and we know we need to evolve with it too. This means we have to review all of the products we sell to ensure are they still relevant? Are they the quality our pharmacy customers expect? AND at the right price point? Especially when pharmacy contracts are being squeezed and business rates are going up.
Dispensing consumables for the automated age
Dispensing consumables is at the heart of what we do. We support a significant proportion of the pharmacy market and work closely with trusted, long-term suppliers to deliver consistently high-quality products at competitive prices.
As pharmacy continues to move towards automation, our focus extends to dispensing consumables that support hub-and-spoke and other automated processes. In 2025, we were delighted to secure a partnership with Centred Solutions as their preferred supplier of autobags and labels, ensuring consistently high product quality and minimising robotic downtime caused by substandard materials.

A growing retail range for pharmacies
Retail came back with a bang for EMT Healthcare in 2025, as we introduced our new Category Manager, Lucilia Evans, to join the team. Lucilia brought over a decade of experience in category management at Aldi, understanding the latest retail trends and insights into what shoppers love to purchase.
We now offer a refined range of products that shoppers want and need, but still remain relevant for pharmacies to sell to their customers.
Retail serves as an important opportunity for pharmacies to boost revenue streams, and it is crucial that, as a supplier to the pharmacy market, we follow market trends and analyse shopper behaviour to create ranges that sell through and don't remain unsold on shelves.
In 2025, EMT Healthcare launched the Pharmacy Retail category and grew ranges such as health and wellness, offering more vitamins and comforting products, including the innovative Kinetik Women's Wellbeing range, to offer more summer, winter and Christmas products. At EMT Healthcare, our goal is to provide you with products that are fresh and relevant for today's discerning shopper.
